I received my Influenster SpringVoxBox and what a wonderful surprise! Always packaged so nicely and items I am enjoying! So let's get into it!

The Kiss everlasting French in Real short! I had to wait until my real nails broke to use these but I wasn't disappointed! I was able to wear these for everyday use. The length is great! Not too short and not too long! Retail price: $6.49. Definitely a great price for these!

The NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion. As I have dry skin this was super moisturizing and not greasy. This left my skin feeling so soft!
Retail price: $2.49 for 2.5oz (what I got) and $10.99 for 13.5oz. Great deal!

The Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons! These are wonderful for swimming, running, and just living! Felt comfortable and has a nice light scent that doesn't irritate!
Retail price: $3.99-$4.99 Great deal!

The Rimmel London Scandeleyes Retro Glam Mascara! Ok, I have very thin eyelashes and couldn't believe what a difference this made! My eyelashes appeared longer and fuller. Not too wet to apply and stays on for hours! Am definitely loving this!
Retail price: $5.99 Will buy this again!

The Peach Pie Car Freshener from the Labor Day Movie. Okay, the smell? Intoxicating! My car smells like a bakery! Adore this!

The Controversial Parenting Tag!

The Topics:

Pro-life Vs. Pro-choice: I am pro-choice. It's my body and I should be able to do as I please, to a certain point.

Baby Wearing: I carried my kids everywhere. When they cried I held them. Nothing wrong with carrying your baby around.

Circumcision: Agree on this. Both my boys were circumcised.

Adoption: I am for adoption. What a wonderful thing for couples to due who can't have to children to give one a good home! I've often thought about being a surrogate for a couple who can't have children.

Baby Piercing: I had my ears pierced at 6 weeks old but my oldest son I let him decide and had his pierced at the age of 13. My youngest son wants nothing to do with it. I don't think that I would have pierced their ears as a baby.

Breast Milk Vs. Formula: Either is fine. In my case I used formula because my breast milk would not come out and I could not feed my children.

Spanking: I'm for it. I do believe in stopping spanking at the age of 5. I spanked both my boys and they're fine. I was spanked as a child and I'm fine. Just no belts or other objects should be used.

Co-sleeping: I never really let my children sleep with me. Only for one reason. They moved too much! I slept with my mother as a child. Nothing wrong with it.

Home Vs. Public Vs. Private Vs. Charter Schooling: Whatever suits your child, your family, and your beliefs is what's right. Both my sons went to public school but then changed to online schooling. My 10 year old currently does online schooling.

Vaccinations: For them. Both my children have been vaccinated.

Medicating Children: Against it for ADD and ADHD reasons. Both my boys are ADHD and I've seen the side affects of the medication and it's horrible. For more serious causes medication may need to be used but not for ADD or ADHD.

Cloth Vs. Disposable diapers: Uhhhh, don't really care either way. I used disposable. Just an easier cleanup.

Cry It Out Method: For it. I don't believe in giving into a child because they're throwing a fit or refusing to do something. I always let them cry it out.

Sooo, there ya go. Some may agree. Some may not. That's okay. I'm not here to judge anyone.

15 Weird Questions Tag!

#1. What's a nickname only your family calls you? My family calls me Kati so my nickname is Kati-Did.

#2. What's a weird habit of yours? I count stairs when I walk up and down them.

#3. Do you have any weird phobias? Yep, I have a weird thing with bathroom vents. It always feels like someone is watching me so I cover the vents.

#4. What's a song you secretly LOVE to blast && belt out when you're alone? Anything by Celine Dion!

#5. What's one of your biggest pet peeves? Waiting. I hate waiting. If you give me a certain time you'll show up I hate waiting when you're late. And doctors' offices piss me off.

#6. What's one of your nervous habits? Smoking. Have to have something in my hand.

#7. What side of the bed do you sleep on? The left. The right side feels weird to me.

#8. What was your first stuffed animal && its name? It technically was a doll that I got when I was a baby but I never named it. I still have it. But the one that sticks with me is a teddy bear a friend gave me that I named Fuzzy Wuzzy.

#9. What's the drink you ALWAYS order at Starbucks? Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade with Passion Fruit!

#10. What's the beauty rule you preach.. but never ACTUALLY practice? None, really. I don't preach about beauty but I have slept in makeup and mentioned how bad it is.

#11. Which way do you face in the shower? Toward the water with my face tilted back so the water isn't in my face.

#12. Do you have any 'weird' body 'skills'? I can crack almost every joint in my body. List them? Sure! Head to toe... Jaw, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, knuckles, fingers (4 different ways), back (3 different ways), hips, the joints in my thighs, my knees, my ankles, and my toes (2 different ways).

#13. What's your favorite 'comfort food'/food that's 'bad' but you love to eat it anyways? Brownies homemade by my sister. She just made some last night with cream cheese frosting. *sigh*

#14. What's a phrase or exclamation you always say? Dude! Picked that habit up from my 18 year old son.

#15. Time to sleep- what are you ACTUALLY wearing? Leggings and a big shirt or pajama bottoms (usually Family Guy) with a color matching t-shirt. Victoria Secret's only comes out for "special times". Hee-hee!

1. How to properly apply makeup. I have watched some of my favorite gurus and learned so many new things!

2. New products I had never heard of. There are so many cheaper makeup brands I have never heard of and thanks to YouTube I now know about these!

3. The beauty community is divided into 2 categories; Those that only use high end makeup and refuse to touch drug store makeup and those that really don't give a damn as long as the product is good.

4. Some new friendships can actually be made through YouTube. Although not a normal networking site, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, YouTube allows you to connect with people through hobbies you have in common.

5. If you don't make YouTube videos or constantly post about what you buy on guru videos, you're passed by. Either comments aren't made to yours, or gift giving is saved for those that already make videos and have so many items. I find that if you don't have videos posted you don't really matter to those that do post videos. You're seen as a lowly viewer.

6. So many DIY tricks that I would have never thought of that are cheap and easy!

7. Anything you need to know about the world, life, ANYTHING can be found on YouTube. Just search!

8. If you don't have money don't bother watching gurus. You're going to see so many items you want that you can't afford and become depressed. Ok, not really depressed but sad that you can't afford the smallest of things.

9. There are groups for just about any hobby someone might have and that's awesome! Everyone has a chance to feel at home.

10. And finally, YouTube is such an interesting place of entertainment. You can laugh, cry, get angry, become inspired, learn something new everyday, and just smile!

1. What do you order at Starbucks?
Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade with Passion Fruit. YUM!

2. What's one thing in your closet that you cannot live without?
My jeans. I feel most comfortable when wearing my jeans. Dress them up or dress them down!

3. What's one thing that most people probably wouldn't know about you?
Some people can see me as sweet and kind but I have a bitch streak when people piss me off in public. I can yell at strangers and not care if they cut me off in a grocery aisle, cut me off while driving. I curse like a sailor.

4. Name one thing that you want to do before you die.
Travel with my husband.

5. What's one food that you cannot live without?
Cheese. Just cheese. So many things are better with cheese!

6. What quote/phrase do you live your life by?

7. What do you like and dislike about the YT community?
Like: The few people you find that you can truly connect with and are very down to Earth and never let anything go to their heads. Dislike: The makeup snobs. Or just snobs in general. The makeup snobs that can't even say "drug store" without it sounding dirty. And the general snobs that either don't reply to their subscribers or only reply to a few select favorites.

8. What's your number one most listened to song on iTunes?
Loved Me Back To Life by Celine Dion.

9. What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
My own. I don't follow trends. I hate trends. I wear what I feel good in, and what I think looks good. I don't dress to impress anyone but myself. So jeans, cute shirts, heels, matching jewelry, and minimal makeup. Trends come and go. Who wants to keep up with something so expensive?

10. Favorite number?
7. Don't ask me why because I have no idea. I've just always liked it.

11. Two hobbies.
Writing poetry and collecting certain items.

12. Two pet peeves.
Just 2??? Kidding. I hate waiting. Do not make me wait. I also hate stupid people. Meaning, don't ask me stupid questions. For example; If I'm on the phone and you come in and ask, "Oh are you on the phone?" I will bitch slap you with my phone.

13. Guilty Pleasure.
Playing video games. Yup, I never really grew up when it comes to video games. It's why I own an XBox 360.

My Wish List!

So, at the age of 36 I'm really REALLY getting into makeup. But with such a limited budget there are so many items I do not own and wish I had so here is my Fairy Godmother wishlist!

1. A primer. I've never owned one.
2. A bronzer. Again, I've never owned one.
3. A highlighter. Nope, never had one of these either.
4. A good palette. I can't afford any of the popular ones and have always wanted to.
5. MAC. That's it. Just MAC. Haha!
6. A setting spray.
7. Face masks!
8. A new makeup holder. My 20 year old case is way too small!
9. Nail polish. I don't own many.
10. And finally, Lip liners. Never owned any!

So, Fairy Godmother, I plead to you to grant my wishes! HAHA!

Hamburger with everything but pickles!

I'm a wine girl I can't stand beer. I won't even kiss my husband if he's had a beer.

Both but I drink tea most of the day.

I drink both but prefer Pepsi!

Chocolate all the way!

Cone! My mom and I used to buy ice cream and cones to snack on at home. :)

Black olives. I can't stand green olives. They tend to take my breath away.

Burger King. Flame broiled, baby! Although McD's has the best fries!

Lipstick. Love that strong color!

Glasses. My eyes are too sensitive for contacts.

Tattoos. I have 4 so far and am getting 2 more.

Capris. You don't wanna see this in shorts. Trust me!

Easy! MAC. I can't afford anything from that line and I would love to try anything! Lipsticks are at the top of the list!

Hmmm, the perfect under eye concealer! I have yet to find one but when I do she better pay up!

3 What would be your 3 wishes for miracle products from the beauty fairy? EG. Permanent fake tan
1. The perfect under eye concealer. 2. A foundation that makes my dry skin look absolutely flawless and smooth. 3. A forever hair color that never fades and shows my grays!

4 Your beauty fairy has given you £100 to spend on beauty today, what are you going to buy?
A couple of MAC lipsticks, concealer, a setting spray (don't own one), a primer (don't have one), some nail polishes and new mascara. Whatever is left over just whatever catches my eye!

A full body massage, a facial, mud bath, mani and pedi, and a good soak in a jaccuzi!

DO NOT GET PERMS! It will dry out your hair! Do not put just one color on your whole eye. And stay away from brown lipsticks!
